Authorites are searching for a late 90’s or early 2000’s blue Ford Taurus that is possibly connected to a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Vada Road Sunday night.
According to witness reports, a black male in his 40’s was walking along Vada Road when the vehicle struck him and left the scene.
The car was last seen pulling a small utility trailer with a dim driver-side tail light.
Emergency responders originally called in a life flight helicopter for the injured pedestrian, but it had to be cancelled due to technical difficulties. The injured man was sent to a Tallahassee hospital but no information on their condition is available.
The car in question is missing a passenger rear view mirror and could have possibly sustained damage to the front passenger side. Anyone with any details should contact Bainbridge Public Safety at 229-248-2038.
