- BAINBRIDGE, GA (SOWEGALIVE) – Bainbridge and Decatur County Arrest Reports for Thursday, April 7
- ALBANY (ALBANY HERALD) — Thanks to an anonymous tip late Wednesday night, officers with the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit (ADDU) were able to discover and raid what officials described as a marijuana growing operation in East Albany.
- MOULTRIE, Ga. (VALDOSTA TODAY) — Deputies with the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office say the body of the man reported missing was found near the Ochlockonee River and Lower Meigs Road.
- VALDOSTA (VALDOSTA TODAY) – The Lowndes County Utility Department experienced a 225,000 gallon sanitary sewage spill on Tuesday on Val-tech Road near the state prison.
- DICKEY, GA (WALB) – Two people were seriously injured after a suspected tornado hit and destroyed a mobile home in Calhoun County early Thursday morning.
- THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) – Congressman Scott was in Thomasville to give a distinguished award to a woman who helped fight for freedom during World War II.
- ALBANY, GA (WALB) – A former State prison guard is indicted for trying to smuggle contraband to inmates.
