According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, the Flint River is expected to rise above flood stage for the second time in 2016. The report states that the river level was 21.4 feet as of 8:45 p.m. Thursday night. The forecast calls for the river to rise above flood stage by Saturday evening and reach 25.4 feet by Sunday afternoon. Flood stage is 25 feet.
