A Bainbridge man was arrested by the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office on Monday on two drug-related charges.
Tyrecous Bernard King, 38, of East River Road, Bainbridge, was arrested at his girlfriend’s house on the 900 block of Albany Road in Bainbridge at about 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
Decatur County Sheriff’s deputies made contact with King after receiving complaints about King allegedly being involved in illegal drug activity, Investigator Robert Humphrey said.
Deputies searched King’s person and found a small amount of marijuana and a pill bottle containing suspected crack cocaine.
After placing King under arrest, Sheriff’s deputies obtained a warrant for King’s residence on East River Road in Bainbridge. They did not locate any drugs at the house.
Tyrecous Bernard King was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana (less than an ounce).
