One person is dead and two others were injured after a shooting in Colquitt, Ga., on Saturday, June 20, according to media reports.
The shooting happened at approximately 2 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of 2nd Street and Dancer Street in the city of Colquitt, Miller County.
Lamaris Miller, a 30-year-old male, was the victim of the shooting, according to the Miller County Coroner’s Office.
Two others were injured and were reportedly taken to a Dothan, Ala., hospital by emergency medical helicopter.
The Colquitt Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating.
