Mitchell County residents, come out to the last spring “Movie in the Park” series, a free screening of the animated family classic, ‘Babe’, about the pig of the same name.
The free showing of Babe will be fun for both children and parents alike, and takes place Friday, May 22 at 8 p.m. at Freedom Park in Pelham, Ga.
There will be tasty food available for purchase, including hot dogs, fresh hot popcorn, soft drinks and candies. The concession tent will be open at 7 p.m.
The event organizers ask that no one bring any personal coolers to the movie.
The movie is sponsored by Pelham Loan Company and H.C. Wiggins Trucking of Pelham. The concession tent is sponsored by Willis-Jamerson-Braswell mortuaries’, Coca-Cola Bottlers, and Family Bank of Pelham.
Babe is rated G; its plot summary is: “Babe, a pig raised by sheepdogs, learns to herd sheep with a little help from Farmer Hoggett.”
