Martha Griffin “Sug” Reynolds, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her residence, according to Ivey Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reynolds’ late husband was Bill K. Reynolds, who passed away in 2006. The late Mayor Reynolds served on the Bainbridge City Council from 1966 to 1978 and as mayor from 1978 to 2006.
Mrs. Reynolds was a supporter of the Bainbridge community, and was also well-known for her love of gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Edward and Billy Jr., and two daughters, Anna and Martha, as well as seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday May 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
