What: Ozark Striping Co., contractors for the Georgia Department of Transportation, will be installing new raised pavement markers on Interstate 75 and thermoplastic striping on a local state route. The work will require rolling lane closures. Motorists are asked to use caution, reduce speed and remain alert to changing traffic conditions.
Raised pavement markers and thermoplastic striping, which is very durable and highly reflective, improve roadway visibility for drivers at night and in the rain. If you approach a work crew please do not pass the work truck or trail/buffer vehicle, change lanes behind the truck or trail/buffer vehicle or swerve back and forth to see around the trucks.
