Fields of Faith is a student-led event where students challenge their peers to read the Bible and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral rally point where a community can come together.
This year, the Fields of Faith event in Bainbridge will be held Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Centennial Field.
What will happen at a Fields of Faith event? The event will start with prayer. Then, students will be sharing their faith testimonies. After this, students will be challenging their peers to read the Bible and to come to faith in Jesus Christ.
Scott Miller, sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club at Bainbridge High School, said:
“This event has grown into a great night of worship as students from all the many local churches youth groups come together at Centennial Stadium to pray for our country, communities, schools, families, etc. as well as hear students testimonies, student scripture challenges, and hear a great praise and worship band. The evening concludes by all students and adults forming one huge prayer circle around the entire football field from goal line to goal line in prayer. This event is sponsored by our local Fellowship of Christian Athletes.”
