The Bainbridge Decatur County YMCA is pleased to announce plans have been finalized for the 1st Annual iTri Youth Triathlon to be held September 13, 2014 at the Bainbridge Decatur County YMCA. The community’s first ever swim bike run event will involve youth of different ages groups beginning with ages 4-6 and going through age 14.
Youth participating in the 4-6 age group will be allowed to use Coast Guard approved flotation devices and training wheels. Youth in the three age groups will have varying distances in the swim, bike and run events.
Early registration runs through September 6 and is $30 for all age groups. After September 7, the registration fee is $35. Onsite registration will open at 7:45am the day of the race. Tshirts will be given to all early bird registrations. Awards will be given to the top three boys and girls in each age group.
