It’s always fun when Bainbridge and Cairo meets up in any sport, but football has to be the biggest meeting of the year between the rivals. The Bearcats have taken two of the past the games in the meeting, but the last three meetings have been separated by only nine points. The Syrupmakers travel to Bearcat Country Friday, September 5th with a 7:30p.m kickoff. The Bearcat pregame starts at 7p.m on Live 101.9.
The Miller County Pirates will host the Early County Bobcats in another huge rivalry game broadcasted by Flint Media. The stingy Early County Bobcats defense will travel to Colquitt looking to earn their first win of the season. The Pirates are looking to turn the rivalry around as the Bobcats have owned the pirates the past decade. The game kicks off at 8p.m. at Pirate Stadium. The pregame show will begin at 7:30p.m. Friday, September 5th on Rockin 106.3 WGMK.
The Q 92.3 WQLI Game of the Week will air an inner city rivalry between the Mitchell County Eagles and the Pelham Hornets. Both teams come in with confidence as they are both undefeated in the young season. This game should be exciting as both teams are very athletic and can score points at any time. This game will be played at Pelham High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30p.m and the Q 92.3 WQLI pregame will start at 7p.m.
