Wrestling returns to the Early County High School gym on Saturday, August 23 at 8:15 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the Early County Schools’ Athletic Department.
A variety of wrestlers will be appearing, some from the WWE, others from TNA’s “Aces and Eights,” and a few hometown favorites!
The roster includes Luke Gallows, Mason Ryan, Mike Knox, Steve Lawler, Terry Lawler, “Cowboy” Dennis Gale, C.J. “Candy” Moye, Chic Donovan, Michael Patrick, Brian “Bam Bam Brock,” Paul Jordaine, Mike Fasen, Krash, Zane Stevens, Wade Garrett and others!
There will be a ladies’ match between Ms. Melissa Coates and black wrestling sensation, Devyn, who is 5 feet, nine inches and 160 pounds. Melissa has appeared in the WWE as “Jillian.”
There will be a hundred dollar challenge match between Paul Jordaine and Mike Fasen of Colquitt, Ga. If Jordaine loses the match, he must throw 100 one-dollar bills out to the ring side!
There will be special appearances by “Mr. Olympia” Jerry Stubbs and Hall of Fame wrestler Don Fargo, who will have copies of his book for sale.
The matches are sponsored by the Early County Schools’ Athletic Department. Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. on Saturday night, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Ring side tickets are $15 each, general admission seats are $12 each and kids aged 3 and under get in free (unless sitting at ring side).
