Due to the Christmas Holiday, trash collection will be affected next week. Trash collection will be moved back by one day. Example: If your normal collection day is Monday, your trash will be collected on Tuesday. If your normal collection day isTuesday, it will be collected on Wednesday. If your normal collection day is Wednesday, it will be collected on Thursday. If your normal collection day is Thursday, it will be collected on Friday.
A dumpster will be available at Bainbridge Public Safety at 510 E. Louise Street for city resident’s use during the Christmas holiday.
For those interested in recycling holiday trash, here is the information for the recycling center in Bainbridge:
Recycling Center Location in Bainbridge
Corner of West Alice and Faceville Highway 97 South (just off the Bainbridge bypass going south across from Sammy’s Bait and Tackle)
Hours: 9:30-2:30, Monday – Friday (Attendant available to help)
After Hours: Labeled containers are always available for recyclables
Items accepted:
Paper
Newspaper
Plastic Bags
Plastic Marked #1 and #2
Aluminum
Cardboard – Boxes need to be flattened
* Please empty and wash bottles and cans – No food or liquid.
* PLEASE DO NOT PUT TRASH IN RECYCLING CONTAINERS!
