Boy Scouts Replace Flags on Veterans Graves

PRESS RELEASE

Last week, members of Boy Scout Troop 502 worked tirelessly to replace torn and missing American flags on the graves of veterans located in Oak City Cemetery and Pineview Cemetery. Just in time for Veteran’s Day, 457 flags were placed in Oak City and 98 were placed in Pineview.  Members of Troop 502 who participated in the project were Lucas Reynolds, Ashton Aldridge, Luke Wright, Tommy Young, Ross Parker, Simpson Bowles, and Austin Aldridge. The scouts were assisted in their efforts by Steve Reynolds, Karl Young, Aric Aldridge, Charlie Bowles, Elizabeth Mihalcik, and Hill Yeats, Commander of Phillip Jester VFW Post 4904.
