WEATHER: Tropical Depression Formed and Heading for the Gulf Coast

According to the National Weather Service, a tropical depression has formed and is expected to enter the Gulf of Mexico this week.

“Tropical Depression 9 (TD9) has formed in the Florida Straits. The initial forecast track has TD9 approaching the Big Bend or Panhandle coast Thursday or Friday.
