According to Decatur County Sheriff Wiley Griffin, an arrest has been made in the murder of 22 year old Quentieria Knight.

24 year old Demarquis Glenn has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

According to reports, Glenn and Knight worked together at Elberta Crate and Box Company. A concerned citizen called 911 to report a vehicle that was partially parked in the roadway and had been running for several hours. When the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office responded, they found the victim had been shot multiple times.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crime and discovered several leads that eventually led to Glenn’s arrest. As of Sunday, there is no known motive.
