On Monday, March 14, City of Bainbridge Code Enforcement officers were sworn in by Sheriff Wiley Griffin to provide jurisdictional powers throughout Decatur County. Previously, the Bainbridge Code Enforcement officers’ jurisdiction was limited to the city limits of Bainbridge. However, with the recent Bainbridge/Decatur County Code Enforcement merger, that radius has grown.
