Atlanta Falcons To Host Clinic Tonite In Bainbridge

Flowery Branch – The Atlanta Falcons will host eight Moms Football Safety Clinics this spring across Georgia and the southeast. The purpose of the clinics isto provide helpful information to moms who have children that are considering or currently playing tackle football. The Falcons have hosted 12 clinics to date; with more than 1,500 moms participating in clinics all over the state of Georgia. The first Atlanta Falcons Moms clinic was held in Alpharetta in 2014. There will be special guest speakers at each clinic this year; all of the clinics will be hosted by Atlanta Falcons staff, and will feature former Atlanta Falcons Linebacker Buddy Curry (1980-87) and representatives from Riddell Sports and the Taylor Hooton Foundation. The clinic will include both on and off the field instruction. Classroom instruction will include topics such as equipment fitting, concussion awareness and proper tackling techniques. The event will conclude with on-field drills led by NFL Alumni.

The Falcons will kick of 2016 with the first Moms Clinic in Bainbridge, Georgia in February:
