Bainbridge High School hoops teams have great weekend

Bainbridge boys 66, Cairo 25 (Saturday)
Tyree Crump had 11 points, Myles Thomas had 14 points.

Bainbridge boys 68, Crisp County 49 (Friday)
Scoring in double figures were Tyree Crump with 24 points, Devontae Jones with 14 points and Myles Thomas with 11 points.

Bainbridge girls 77, Cairo girls 57 (Saturday)
Coach Kelvin Cochran writes: Lady Cats (12-4, 2-0) won tonight vs Cairo High. In double figures for the Lady Cats were Nadia Marshall with 24 points, Asia Gordon with 21 points and Tianna Miller with 15 points. Bearcats (9-7, 2-0) won also in the boys match up. We host Seminole Co. Tuesday night, JV boys at 3:30/4, girls at 6 and boys at 7:30…we hope to see you there!!!

Bainbridge girls 78, Crisp County 20 (Friday)
Coach Kelvin Cochran writes: Lady Cats (11-4, 1-0) won tonight vs Crisp Co. In double figures for the Lady Cats were Nadia Marshall with 18 points, Tytianna Roseborough with 13 points and Kiarra King with 11 points. It was a good team win, all the Lady Cats got some game action.

The Bainbridge teams host non-region rivalry games vs. Seminole County on Tuesday, January 12 at the Bainbridge High School gymnasium. Seminole County was the Class A team last year and Seminole Indians’ Jordan Harris was the Class A Player of the Year. After graduating, Harris will become University of Georgia basketball teammates with Tyree Crump, a senior leader for Bainbridge High’s boys team.
