Man arrested on felony marijuana charges Wednesday

On Wednesday, December 30, at approximately 2:45 PM, Bainbridge Public Safety Investigators Chip Nix, Larry Funderburke, Chris Jordan, and Mark Esquivel responded to King West Apartments in reference to a drug complaint.

The complainant stated that Ernest Neal Foster, 59, was selling marijuana from his residence. Upon arrival, Foster was located at a neighboring residence, and as the officers approached, Foster removed a black bag from a back pack he was holding and pushed the bag into his pants.

Following a search, the black bag was recovered and in it were 5 baggies containing marijuana. Inside the back pack, officers found another bag of marijuana as well as numerous pink baggies.

Foster was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) With Intent to Sell or Distribute (felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) with Intent to Sell or Distribute Within 1000 feet of a Park or Housing Project (felony).
