Biopolymer manufacturer MHG served as a corporate sponsor for the SUSTPACK 2015 conference, which took place from March 31- April 2, 2015 in Orlando, FL. As part of their corporate sponsorship, the company hosted a breakfast, and gave a thirty minute presentation to an exclusive group of attendees.

The event was held at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Resort, where key stakeholders in the packaging industry gathered to discuss, network, and learn about opportunities, trends, technology and potential challenges the industry is facing now and in the future.

During the networking breakfast, MHG presented their mission, as well as the products and services MHG offers, including biopolymer development and production, research and development, and toll manufacturing of specialty products for business partners.

“The SUSTPACK conference was a great opportunity for MHG to specifically speak to members in the packaging industry,” said Paul Pereira, CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors at MHG. “The sustained focus on biopolymers set the tone for the conference, which allowed us to provide precise details to industry leaders about our products and services that are on the cutting-edge for the future of sustainable packaging.”

The SustPack conference followed MHG’s exhibition at NPE 2015, which took place from March 23-27. The company received an astounding response during this show, where they exhibited their wide range of services and products. During the event, MHG demonstrated the applications and advantages of their innovative and completely biodegradable PHA-based polymers.

The company also recently launched their new website, MHGbio.com. The new website combines all services and products offered by the biopolymer company. In addition, MHG added a new sustainability section to the website, which explains their mission and business model.

Two new videos were recently launched and can be seen on the site. The video titled “MHG- Providing Solutions for a Healthier Planet” is a two minute video that provides the overview of the company. The other video, “Canola Dreams,” gives viewers a look at the latest advancements at the facility, as well as the canola fields, which are currently in full bloom.
