Bainbridge, other SW GA High Schools compete at Lowndes track & field invitational

Harmon’s Viking & Vikette Invitational was held Saturday, March 28 at Lowndes County High School in Valdosta

Boys

Thomas County’s Juanye Smith won the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.02 seconds. He also won the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.68 seconds.

Cervantes Jackson of Bainbridge won the 110 meter hurdles in a time of 15.14 seconds. He placed 2nd in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet. Jackson won the triple jump with a distance of 43 feet, 9.75 seconds.

Bainbridge’s Victor Bodison placed 3rd in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet. He placed 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 7.25 inches.

Isaiah Brown of Bainbridge placed 2nd in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 15.27 seconds. He placed 5th in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 42.84 seconds.

Elijah Taylor of Bainbridge placed 9th in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.63 seconds.

Bainbridge’s Poncherella Leonard placed 5th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.12 seconds. He placed 3rd in the 800-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 6.10 seconds.

Bainbridge’s 4×200 meter relay team placed 2nd, with a time of 1 minute, 35.75 seconds.

Bainbridge’s 4×400 meter relay team placed 2nd, with a time of 3 minutes, 33.68 seconds.

Thomas County Central’s James Baker placed 4th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.48 seconds.

Thomasville’s Keldren Reddick finished 4th in the boys’ mile with a time of 5 minutes, 2.14 seconds. Reddick placed 4th in the 800 meters with a time of 2 minutes, 9.73 seconds.

Thomasville’s Devan Drew placed 4th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.26 seconds.

Thomas County Central’s Ernest Harris finished 2nd in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.86 seconds.

Thomasville’s Andrew Jackson placed 4th in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 41.87 seconds. He was 7th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.44 seconds.

Jaylyn Scott of Bainbridge placed 7th in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 43.99 seconds.

Bainbridge’s Lorenzo Mitchell was 12th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.74 seconds.

Bainbridge’s Chase Harris finished the boys’ mile in a time of 5 minutes, 52.11 seconds. He ran the boys’ 2-mile in 12 minutes, 33.43 seconds.

Thomas County Central placed 2nd in the 4×100 meter dash, with a time of 44.01 seconds.

Thomasville’s Bryan Kato placed 3rd in the discus with a throw of 126 feet, 9 inches. He placed 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 45 feet, 7 inches.

Girls

Thomasville’s Mahogany Walker won the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.16 seconds. She also won the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.30 seconds, and third in the high jump with 4 feet, 10 inches.

Thomas County Central’s Bryana Scott won the discus with a throw of 12o feet, one inch. She placed 3rd i nthe shot put with a throw of 34 feet, 9 inches.

Erica Edwards of Thomas County Central won the high jump with a leap of five feet, four inches.

Danisha Jones of Thomasville won the shot put with a toss of 41 feet, 5 inches. She placed 2nd in the discus with a throw of 118 feet, 11 inches.

Aleah Wagner of Thomasville placed 2nd in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.36. She won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 49.49 seconds.

Thomasville’s Rebekah Smith won the girls’ mile in a time of 6 minutes, 8.97 seconds. She also won the 2-mile, in a time of 13 minutes, 15.29 seconds.

Uriyah Davis of Bainbridge placed 2nd in the girls’ mile, with a time of 6 minutes, 17 seconds. She placed 3rd in the 2-mile, with a time of 13 minutes, 26.51 seconds.

Amaia Taylor of Bainbridge placed 6th in the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 53.36 seconds.

Aida Diaz of Bainbridge placed 5th in the two-mile with a time of 14 minutes, 51.08 seconds.

Thomas County Central placed 2nd in the girls 4×100 meter relay, in 50.52 seconds. TCC’s girls won the 4×200 meter relay, in 1 minute, 53.45 seconds.

Thomasville’s girls placed 3rd in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 4 minutes, 23.78 seconds.

Thomasville’s Demetria Miley and Miyah Beard placed 2nd and 3rd in the girls’ 800-meter run.

Thomasville’s Naomi Toles placed 2nd in the long jump, with a jump of 15 feet. She placed 3rd in the triple jump, with a distance of 34 feet, 5.75 inches.
