The Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of the new location of the Decatur County Historical Society with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, December 9.
They are now located at 127 E. Water Street in downtown Bainbridge. A collection of historic memorabilia is located in this wonderful museum “On the Square.”
The Decatur County Sports Hall of Fame and associated memorabilia is also located inside the museum. The museum is officially open on Saturdays from 10 a.m -2 p.m. but will open for tours any time and is open during all of downtown’s special events.
