The Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2015 Raymond Miles Youth Leadership Class. Following the University of Georgia J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership curriculum, participants will be exposed to materials designed to enhance leadership skills and develop community awareness.
The prestigious program spans a period of twelve weeks beginning in January 2015 and concluding in March 2015. High school sophomores and juniors may be nominated by a school faculty member or by a community leader.
Nominations should include the student’s name, address, school and grade level and be directed to the Chamber of Commerce by the October 31, 2013 deadline. All nominees will be required to complete a leadership application before a class of thirty participants is chosen by the Leadership Selection Committee.
