As part of an EMS regionalization initiative for providing more efficient and reliable care throughout the state, Mid Georgia Ambulance (MGA), Seminole County’s newly contracted provider, began providing EMS services for the citizens of Baker County on Wednesday, July 16th.

MGA and Baker County officials finalized the EMS agreement Monday evening, July 7th. An MGA transition team was on-site in Newton the following Tuesday morning to begin the transition process.

Mirroring start-up procedures facilitated in Seminole County earlier in July, MGA will bring new ambulances and state of the art emergency medical equipment to Baker County, as well as employment opportunities for all current Baker County EMS associates.

As South Georgia’s only CAAS-accredited agency, MGA is known throughout the region for the company’s expertise in offering affordable, efficient EMS solutions.

The staff of Mid Georgia Ambulance is excited and honored to expand yet again their services in Southwest Georgia and looks forward to begin working with the citizens and EMS professionals of Baker County.
