Emily Ward, a Bainbridge native who is a junior at Georgia College and State University, will be our summer intern at Flint Media Inc. She will host a lunchtime music show on Live 101.9 FM and help out with our news website, sowegalive.com!
Starting Monday, May 19, can hear Emily’s show weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on WBGE Live 101.9 FM, stream it online at sowegalive.com or use the Tune In Radio smartphone app (iTunes / Android).
Emily, a top honors student in the Bainbridge High School Class of 2012, is studying mass communication at Georgia College and has hosted a popular weekly music show on her university’s radio station since August 2013. She keeps her finger on the pulse of hot new songs on the Billboard and iTunes charts and we’re sure she will bring a fresh, dynamic energy to Live 101.9 FM and other Flint Media properties. She also likes to play favorites from the 80’s, 90s and 2000s, too, so feel free to call in requests to (229) 246-7776!
