In an interview with Sowegalive.com on Thursday, April 17, Decatur County Administrator Gary Breedlove discussed how county commissioners are looking into possibly privatizing its Emergency Medical Service (ambulance service).
The county government requested bids from private companies and the deadline to receive bids was last Friday, April 18.
Decatur County commissioners have placed “EMS Options – Status” as an agenda item for their meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m., at the County Administration Building at 203 W. Broughton Street.
